1. Terms for Private Singing Lessons
- Booking and Fees: Lessons must be paid for before the lesson commences, on a pay as you go basis.
- Cancellation Policy: There is a 48-hour cancelation period. If a student cancels outside this window, they forfeit the lesson fee.
- Online Logistics: Student requires a stable internet connection and a working Zoom/VOOV meetings account. If a bad connection affects the majority of the lesson, we will reschedule, if a bad connection only occurs for a few moments during the lesson we will continue.
- Vocal Health and Liability: Singing is physically demanding. The student is to take full responsibility for their own vocal and physical health and agree to inform you immediately if they experience pain.
2. Terms for Online Courses
- Payment and Access: One off payment for either a 6-week or 12-week period of access to the course, you are able to download your group online live lessons.
- Intellectual Property (IP): All course materials, videos, and PDFs are protected by copyright. Downloading, sharing, or reselling the course is strictly prohibited.
- Refund Policy: Both the 6-week and 12-week courses are non-refundable once accessed, to protect intellectual property from “buy and return” fraud.
- Limitation of Liability: There is no guaranteed specific vocal results or career success, as progress depends heavily on the student’s personal practice and effort.
3. General Legal Clauses (Both Services)
- Code of Conduct: I reserve the right to terminate lessons or revoke course access if a student exhibits abusive or disrespectful behavior.
- Privacy and Data Protection: We collect your name and email address to provide access to our online course and communicate with you about your purchase. Payments are processed securely by Stripe, and we do not store your payment card details.
- Governing Law: The laws of England and Wales are the legal jurisdiction that governs the contract.
